Trees
The Trees collection is inspired by the trees of the city where I live, Rome. I have chosen three areas of the Eternal City that have a very characterizing presence of vegetation: Villa Borghese, the large green area above Piazza del Popolo, with its Mediterranean pines, the Aventine area with the famous Giardino degli Aranci, and finally the multi-ethnic square of Rome in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II with the horse chestnuts that surround it. I have interpreted these trees both in a figurative but stylized way, and in an abstract way, painting and engraving porcelain to create jewels and small artworks.
